Job Description-Permanent Position: Construction Supervisor- Tilesetting Supervisor (NOC 7205)

Wage Rate: $32- $33 Hourly, for 37.50 Hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day

 Education: High School

 Experience: Several years of experience in similar field required

 Languages: English

 Job Duties:

 Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in bricklaying,   roofing, cement finishing, tilesetting, plastering, drywall installationEstablish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other subcontractors

 • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

 • Clean and level the surface to be tiled

 • Measure and cut tile and marble

 • Arrange tiles according to design plans

 • Install tile and marble in a planned area

 • Apply grout with a rubber trowel

 • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

 • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions

 • Prepare work progress reports
