provide our clients with a complete home décor experience by offering fine
products from around the world that are well made and beautiful to look at. Our
showroom houses a large and diverse selection of furniture, bedding, lighting,
accessories, rugs and broadloom as well as decorative plumbing, hardware and
boutique items at our Ginger’s store. Elte’s family tradition began over 95 years
ago and we continue into our fourth generation with the same excitement and
passion for our clients and products.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
As the Home Visit Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving to
clients and maintaining excellent client service and presentation standards,
with all aspects of loading and unloading product into the customers’ homes.
You will be accompanied with a fellow Stock Associate and a Sales Associate
during deliveries and the ideal candidate must be driven, flexible and
motivated to help others.
QUALIFICATIONS OF A STOCK ASSOCIATE/DRIVER:
Must possess a valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be 25 years of age or older
The ability to lift approx. 50 lbs. and to maneuver rugs in excess of
100 lbs. with appropriate equipment or the assistance of another person.

- Self starter – able to work well alone or in a group.

WHAT YOU DO (among other things):
On Delivery:
- Pull rugs out of warehouse or showroom and prep for delivery
- Inspect and load rugs into company vehicle
- Attend the on-site delivery with a Sales Associate and Stock Associate
- Physical lifting and carrying of rugs into customers' homes with no damages
- Unload any remaining items in vehicle and place back in respective home (showroom floor or warehouse)
- Responsible for ensuring that all delivery preparations have been completed successfully prior to the delivery, during the delivery, and after the delivery (verify that correct rugs pulled prior to delivery and that all rugs have been tagged and put away after a delivery)
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to management
OnShowroom Floor:
- Ensure that the stock associates are working in tandem and possess a genuine desire to uphold the company vision
- Respond to and be available for customer service and sales pages in a timely manner
- Ensure products are correctly tagged and located in correct area
- Move, hang, prepare, and carry product as instructed and required
- Respond to and be available for customer service and sales pages in a timely manner
- Ensure Showroom and outside grounds are clean and litter free
- Maintain a clean and presentable uniform
- Maintain highly organized and neat work environment
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Stock Supervisor or Sales Manager
- Communicate any concerns to reporting manager

- Monday - Friday 9 am – 5:30 pm (subject to change depending on business needs)
